A mezquita cordoba poster from inside the hall of columns: rank after rank of double horseshoe arches banded in terracotta red and cream, dark marble columns holding them up, and pools of low sunlight lying on the polished floor.
About the artwork
This is a pattern print as much as an architectural one. The red and cream voussoirs repeat across the whole upper half of the frame, getting smaller and closer together as the arcade recedes, until the far arches dissolve into a soft blue-grey haze — that shift from hot red in front to cold grey behind is what creates the depth. The columns are painted in dark slate, olive and near-black stone with the veining visible and carved capitals picked out at the top of each one. Underfoot the floor is the surprise: warm apricot and rose marble, wet-looking, with long ellipses of gold light falling across it and the columns reflected as soft vertical smears. Ceiling vaults in cream and sand close the top of the picture. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Spain beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Repetition done right. Hundreds of arches, each one drawn, receding to a vanishing point.
- Red and cream stripes. A graphic pattern that works on a wall the way a textile does.
- Interior, not a skyline. The only inside-a-building view in the Spain group.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The strong red makes this a statement print — put it on a plain wall in a dining room, study or hallway and let the pattern do the talking. It suits cream, clay and deep green walls, and sits well with leather, brass and dark wood. Espresso and black frames match the columns; natural oak softens the red. It pairs with the Seville and Granada side of the range as an Andalusia group.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where is this? Inside the great mosque-cathedral of Cordoba, looking down one of the aisles of double arches towards the far end of the hall.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
