A Long Beach California poster that looks down through a stand of tall fan palms to the curved gold sand of the bay. White-hulled sailboats drift on flat turquoise water, a marina of bare masts crowds the far shore, and the mid-rise towers of downtown stand behind the curve of the shoreline under a clear sky.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with hard edges and fine screen-print banding in the water. The palette runs turquoise into deep teal across the bay, warm apricot and ochre over the sand, rust brown and muted olive on the palm trunks and fronds, and pale blue-grey on the buildings behind. The palms are the structure of the picture: three trunks cut vertically through the frame in the foreground, with smaller crowns filling the lower corners. Sailboat hulls and marina masts are drawn as thin cream lines. Type is set in white capitals at the top, LONG BEACH above a spaced CALIFORNIA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A real Long Beach view — the palm-lined bluff looking down over the bay and the boat basin, not a generic California beach.
- Warm and cool in one frame — ochre sand against turquoise water, which is why it holds a wall from across a room.
- Depth built from palms — layered trunks and fronds pull your eye through to the skyline instead of flattening it.
- Made for people who know it — the marina masts and the low curve of the shoreline read straight away to anyone who has walked it.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The turquoise and ochre sit well on warm neutrals — sand, oyster, pale clay — and the rust in the palm trunks picks up terracotta and leather. Natural oak suits it best, as in the oak-framed shots above; the black frame on the terracotta wall gives it more contrast if your room runs darker. Good over a sideboard in a living room or on a bedroom wall that gets afternoon light.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a sideboard or a bed, 24" x 36" or larger holds the wall. For a gallery wall or a narrow hallway, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24" keeps the palms readable without crowding.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
Is the detail sharp at large sizes? Yes. The artwork is vector-based, so the palm fronds and the thin marina masts stay crisp all the way up to 30" x 40".
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
