A Liberty Bell Mountain Washington poster looking up at the pale granite summit block from the forest below Washington Pass. The rock splits into fins and towers at the top, a long apron of slab and talus runs down to the treeline, dark conifers fill the middle of the frame, and a bank of cumulus builds behind the ridge on the right.
About the artwork
A detailed painted illustration, with the granite worked in facets of bone white, warm sand and cool blue-grey so the light on each face reads differently. Below it the conifers are near-black green, the alpine meadow strips are olive and yellow-green, and rust-orange shrubs pick out the foreground boulders. The sky is a deep petrol teal at the top, lightening toward the horizon, with cream clouds massed on the right. Set in white capitals at the base: LIBERTY BELL MOUNTAIN, with WASHINGTON beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The North Cascades in one rock — Liberty Bell rises straight above the Washington Pass overlook on the North Cascades Highway.
- Climbers' country — the Beckey Route on the south face is one of the best known granite lines in the state.
- Height without snow — a summer alpine print, all granite and conifer instead of the usual white peak.
- Deep green and bone — a restrained palette that suits rooms where a bright poster would jar.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The dark conifer green and petrol sky make this a good print for a room with depth: forest green, deep slate or warm cream walls all hold it. The bone granite is bright enough to carry a dim corner, and the orange shrubs give a small hook for a rust throw or a leather chair. A natural oak frame keeps it warm, as in the two-window room in the photographs above; espresso suits it in a study.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The rock detail on the summit block is worth 24" x 36" or larger on a main wall. For a home office or a stair wall, 16" x 24" holds the shape of the spire well.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? The lettering reads LIBERTY BELL MOUNTAIN on the first line and WASHINGTON on the second.
Is this the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia? No. This is Liberty Bell Mountain, a granite peak in the North Cascades of Washington State, named for its bell-like profile. The shop's Philadelphia print is a separate design and a different subject entirely.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
