A Kings Canyon National Park vintage travel poster, printed full bleed: a pale granite spire and canyon wall rising above dense pine and fir, with cinnamon-barked trees and a meadow stream at the base. White lettering reads ESTABLISHED MARCH 4, 1940 across the top and KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK at the foot, around the National Park Service bison seal.
About the artwork
Tall conifers frame both sides, the spire rises at center-right into the top third, and the stream runs through the meadow under the title. Cream granite against a deep teal sky makes the rock glow. Kings Canyon is one of the deepest canyons in North America, deeper in places than the Grand Canyon.
Why you'll love it
- Sierra classic. Granite cream and forest green suit cabins, offices and living rooms.
- Lines up in a grid. Every poster in this series shares the same full-bleed layout and white lettering, so several parks hang cleanly side by side.
- Standard poster proportions. The 2:3 sizes drop straight into ready-made frames, from 8" x 12" to 24" x 36".
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 24" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Pine, leather and cream wool suit it; cinnamon from the tree bark is an easy accent. Natural or espresso frames suit the forest.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 16" x 24" and up if it hangs alone; 12" x 18" works inside a gallery wall of several parks.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Kings Canyon prints? This is the full-bleed vintage travel poster: a granite spire above conifer forest and a meadow. The WPA poster, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Kings Canyon prints in the shop are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
