This Kanagawa flower market wall art print is a burst of tropical color, with bird of paradise, gerberas, palms and a volcano under a peach sky. It's a dreamlike, artistic interpretation inspired by Kanagawa, not a literal view of the prefecture.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with blooms, water edges and paper grain. A volcano and a few tall hotels sit at the top center, framed by palm trees on both sides. Bird of paradise, gerberas and other blooms in pink, orange, yellow, red and white fill the lower two-thirds. A peach-to-blue sky washes above, with "FLOWER MARKET" in peach orange and "Kanagawa" handwritten in teal.
Why you'll love it
- Tropical energy. Hot pinks and oranges bring a holiday mood.
- Garden-first view. Big blooms fill most of the frame for maximum color.
- Soft peach sky. A gentle wash balances the bright flowers.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It lifts a bedroom, bathroom or sunny living room with coral, green and natural rattan. A fun gift for someone who loves Japan travel and bright, happy color.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Kanagawa? No. The volcano, palms and hotels are imagined parts of a tropical-style scene, a stylized interpretation rather than a real Kanagawa view.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION", "NO.098" and "Kanagawa" in handwritten script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
