About the artwork
Flat vector shapes cut with hard edges, no linework, tone built in stacked layers. The palette is unusual for a street scene: a flat pale teal sky, a huge mass of graded greens across the bluff from yellow-green to deep forest, brick in four separate reds from rust to a warm burnt orange, and a broad wash of golden ochre across the sunlit paving in the foreground. Shadows are cut as clean blue-grey diagonals over the flagstones. Small details carry the period — stone lintels and cornice brackets, striped awnings, a dry-stone retaining wall on the right, three lamp standards receding down the hill. The type sits high in the sky in white sans-serif capitals: GALENA above a smaller, wider-tracked ILLINOIS. Portrait, 2:3.

What size should I get? This one rewards size — the storefronts, awnings and window rows only open up at 24 x 36 inches or larger. Below 16 x 24 the street reads as texture rather than detail.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and rolled. Framed canvas ships stretched and framed in white, black, espresso or natural wood, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The print carries only GALENA in large white capitals with ILLINOIS beneath it. The words Main Street do not appear on the sheet, even though that is the street shown.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
