A Havasu Falls Arizona poster looking down Havasu Canyon on Havasupai land. A single column of water drops about a hundred feet over a red travertine cliff into a turquoise plunge pool, then spreads across pale mineral terraces and runs out as blue-green Havasu Creek between red sandstone walls, cottonwoods and desert brush.
About the artwork
Painterly digital illustration with heavy modelling on the rock and fine directional strokes in the falling water, not flat vector shapes. The palette is the reason people know this canyon: oxide red and rust in the cliffs, banded grey and buff in the upper strata, milky turquoise and aquamarine in the creek, deep green cottonwoods, and a bright sky with tall white cumulus stacked over the rim. Agave and yucca fill the near foreground, and a small building sits among the trees on the left bank. The type is printed in white low on the sheet: HAVASU FALLS above ARIZONA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The mineral colour is real — calcium carbonate in the creek is what turns the water that opaque blue-green, and the print keeps it rather than exaggerating it.
- Red rock against turquoise — an unusually strong complementary pairing for a room that needs one strong piece.
- Havasupai homeland — the falls sit below Supai village on the Havasupai Reservation, and the print treats the canyon as a lived-in place rather than scenery.
- A meaningful piece for someone who made the trip — access is by permit only and the trip is a long hike in and out, so it lands differently than a roadside view.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Terracotta and turquoise carry a whole wall on their own, so give the print space. Warm white, clay or sand walls hold it best, and natural or espresso wood frames echo the canyon rather than competing with it. It reads well in a living room with woven textures and leather, like the cream sofa and terracotta cushions in the photographs above.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 16" x 24" holds the canyon layers in a bedroom or study. Over a sofa, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" gives the fall its full drop.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The printed type reads HAVASU FALLS with ARIZONA beneath it, in white near the bottom edge.
Is Havasu Falls part of Grand Canyon National Park? No. It lies in Havasu Canyon on the Havasupai Reservation, sovereign tribal land west of the national park. Visiting requires a reservation and permit issued by the Havasupai Tribe, permits usually sell out for the year within hours of release, and day hiking is not allowed.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
