A line art wall art print of sharp graphite lines crossing and stacking across rough white paper like scaffolding, masts or rigging.
About the artwork
Long diagonal strokes run from the top edge down through the whole sheet, and short horizontal bars cut across them at the left and lower right, some doubled like rungs. Two long blade shapes, left of center and near the bottom, are filled with fine hatching, so they read as the only solid forms. The rough watercolor paper catches the graphite in tiny specks, giving the white areas a faint gray tooth. Nothing is smoothed or erased; every line stays sharp and deliberate.
Why you'll love it
- Architectural energy. Straight lines that feel like a building going up.
- Monochrome and crisp. Gray on white works in any color scheme.
- Detail up close. The paper grain and hatching reward a second look.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Suited to a home office, studio or modern entry with metal, concrete or white oak. A thin black frame sharpens the lines; white keeps it light and airy. Hang it beside other gray pencil drawings in the range for a consistent monochrome wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is it a building or a boat? Neither exactly. It is abstract, though the lines suggest scaffolding, masts or rigging.
Is it black or gray? Soft graphite gray, darkest where the two blade shapes are hatched.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
