A Glacier Bay National Park classical oil painting, reproduced as a wide 3:2 print: a towering tidewater glacier face of jagged blue-white seracs meeting teal water, a calving splash and a floating ice block in front and snowy peaks lit pink behind.
About the artwork
The ice wall runs diagonally from the left middle to the right edge and fills most of the canvas, with a band of water along the bottom. Faceted strokes model the seracs, and the water is brushed in directional sweeps. Glacier Bay is part of a World Heritage Site shared with Canada.
Why you'll love it
- Ice in close-up. Blue-white seracs painted with real sculpture.
- Gallery-scale sizes. Eleven horizontal sizes, from 12" x 8" up to 54" x 36" on paper.
- A painting, not a poster. There is no lettering on the canvas, so it hangs like a landscape from a gallery wall.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Eleven sizes in all, A4 to A1 included: 12" x 8" to 54" x 36".
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits an office, a bathroom or a bedroom with a cool palette. Ice blue, teal and white pair with gray and pale wood; a white frame keeps it crisp.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which size works above a sofa? For a standard three-seat sofa, 36" x 24" or 48" x 32". The smaller sizes suit a console, a desk or a hallway.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Glacier Bay prints? This is the classical landscape painting: a jagged tidewater glacier face over teal water, reproduced without any lettering. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, impasto oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Glacier Bay prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
