A gediminas tower poster seen from the grass slopes below: the octagonal red brick tower alone on its rounded green hill, the old town's terracotta roofs and spires spread behind it, and one enormous white cloud rising at its shoulder.
About the artwork
Almost half the sheet is hillside, and that is the point — the tower is small, high and hard-won. The foreground grass is drawn in wide diagonal bands, sunlit lime alternating with blue-green shade, with individual blades silhouetted along the bottom edge so the eye has somewhere to start. The tower is warm brick red with a flat top, tiers of small arched windows and a slim mast on the roof. Below and behind it the city runs to the horizon as a dense field of orange-red rooftops, punctuated by a thin dark spire on the left and a pale twin-towered baroque church on the right, each drawn small but complete. Trees bank up the left flank of the hill, some with pale silvery foliage. The cloud is the one soft thing in the picture. The city name sits in wide-tracked uppercase with Lithuania beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Red brick against green hill. A complementary pair, which is why the tower holds the eye at any size.
- A readable skyline. Spires, gables and rooftops are drawn individually, not blurred into a mass.
- Room to breathe. Half the sheet is open grass and sky, so it hangs quietly in a busy room.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Warm and grassy rather than cool, so it fits a living room or study with plenty of wood in it. Cream, putty and pale sage walls suit it best, and the brick red picks up against a terracotta cushion or a rust throw. Walnut and mid-brown frames echo the tower; natural oak keeps it lighter. It pairs neatly with the Riga design for a Baltic old town group.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What lettering is printed on the artwork? The sheet reads Vilnius with Lithuania beneath it. The tower is the subject of the picture, but the city name is what appears in the type.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
