This Everglades National Park watercolor print shows the Anhinga Trail boardwalk winding over sawgrass marsh, with an anhinga drying its wings on the rail. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the wetland, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the boardwalk planks, the anhinga's feathers and the alligator's scales, and the sawgrass is built from layered vertical strokes of gold and green. Blue water carries soft reflections, with white paper left for the egret and light on the surface. Gold-green sawgrass, blue-turquoise water and lily pad green lead, with a white egret and black anhinga as accents. The boardwalk runs diagonally from the left foreground into the distance over Taylor Slough, with the anhinga spread on the rail up front. A great egret wades in the middle ground, and flat marsh dotted with hardwood hammocks and cabbage palms stretches to the Florida horizon under tall cumulus clouds. "EVERGLADES" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Up-close wildlife. An anhinga with open wings, an alligator among lily pads and a turtle on a log sit right in the foreground.
- Endless marsh horizon. Flat sawgrass reaching to the sky gives the print a calm, open sense of space.
- Dry-season light. Clear winter skies and wading birds capture the marsh in its dry season.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Gold, green and soft blue fit a sunroom, a living room with rattan and linen, or a home office. Give it to a birder, a wildlife photographer, or someone who walked the boardwalk and spotted their first alligator.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Everglades National Park? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Anhinga Trail, with the wildlife gathered close and the marsh simplified into soft strokes.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "EVERGLADES," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
