A Driftwood Beach Jekyll Island poster looking north along the tideline on Georgia's Golden Isles. Bleached oak skeletons stand where the surf has undercut them, one trunk still upright in shallow water, others toppled and half-buried in pale sand. A thin lace of foam curls up the wet flat in the foreground and the horizon runs flat and open to the right.
About the artwork
Hard-edged vector shapes with the driftwood picked out in fine directional linework, so the grain and split limbs read even at small sizes. The palette is short and cool: cerulean sky, a deeper steel blue in the water, cream and pale apricot sand, silver-grey and bone on the bleached trunks, with a single warm note of rust-orange in the surviving canopy at the upper right. Wet sand in the foreground goes almost navy where the tide has just pulled back. Typography sits in thin white capitals across the top: JEKYLL ISLAND, with GEORGIA below. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A beach that looks like nowhere else — the standing dead oaks are what people come to Jekyll Island to photograph.
- Quiet, not busy — no crowds, no buildings, just water, sand and bare wood.
- One warm accent — the rust canopy keeps an otherwise cool blue print from going cold.
- Texture worth walking up to — the linework in the trunks and the foam edge holds detail close up.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Blue and cream is easy to place: it settles straight onto white, chalk and pale grey walls, and the rust accent gives it a route into a warmer scheme such as the terracotta wall in the photographs above. Pale oak framing repeats the sand tone; black framing sharpens the horizon line. It works well in a bedroom or bathroom where you want the wall to feel like open air.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The long horizon rewards scale. 24" x 36" over a bed or sofa keeps the driftwood readable; 18" x 24" suits a hallway or a gallery wall slot.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas ships in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The printed text reads JEKYLL ISLAND with GEORGIA beneath it. The stretch shown is Driftwood Beach, on the island's north-east shore.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
