A Seattle Space Needle poster drawn from inside the glasshouse at Seattle Center. A vaulted steel and glass roof curves away down the length of the frame, a suspended cloud of blown-glass forms in red, orange and amber fills the upper right, and the Space Needle stands full height through the glazing on the left.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration built from clean geometric shapes with almost no outline. The colour split is deliberate: cool pale blue, steel grey and slate in the glazing bars, sky and tower, against saturated vermilion, tangerine, amber and mustard in the hanging glass. The suspended pieces are drawn as radial fluted discs and petal forms, each with visible rib lines, layered several deep. Curved white glazing ribs run the length of the vault, the polished dark floor mirrors the whole ceiling in softened tones, and gold autumn trees show through the far windows. The Space Needle is drawn with its saucer, tapered legs and mast. Type is a white sans serif reading SEATTLE over WASHINGTON. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- An interior view of the Needle — seen from under a glass roof rather than from the usual waterfront distance.
- Hot colour on a cold structure — the orange and red glass against grey steel is the whole point of the composition.
- Perspective that pulls you in — the vault recedes down the page and the floor mirrors it, so the print has real depth.
- Seattle Center in one frame — the tower, the glasshouse and the autumn grounds all appear together.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Orange against pale blue-grey is a strong pairing that needs a neutral around it. It works on the beige wall in the photographs above, and on soft white, greige or a cool pale grey in a living room or stairwell. If the room has rust, brass or a terracotta rug, the glass forms will tie into it. A slim black or natural frame keeps the structure crisp.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? There is a lot of fine rib detail in the glass, so go 20" x 30" or larger where you can. 24" x 36" suits a main wall; 16" x 24" for a narrow stairwell.
Does it come framed? Paper arrives rolled and unframed. Matte canvas is stretched and ready to hang. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? The printed type reads SEATTLE with WASHINGTON beneath it. Neither the tower nor the glasshouse is named on the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
