An Antwerp Central Station poster from the middle of the concourse: a glazed barrel vault fanning overhead, stone arches stacked one behind another, and long diagonal shafts of sun cutting down through the dust onto the travellers below.
About the artwork
It is built as a tunnel of arches, each one framing the next and each one smaller, so your eye is pulled from the ribbed glass roof at the top of the sheet down to a lit doorway at the far end. The structure is drawn with real patience — the fan of iron ribs and glazing bars in the vault, the tiers of round-headed windows in the end wall, the balustraded galleries, the clock set into the far arch, the twin staircases sweeping down either side. Colour is held to warm stone: cream, sand and pale gold where the light lands, cool slate and blue-grey in the shadowed masonry, so the sunbeams read as solid wedges. Down on the floor, dozens of small figures in navy, rust and mustard give the hall its scale, each with a bag, a coat, a shadow. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Belgium beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- An interior, not a skyline. Rare in travel prints, and the reason this one reads as a building rather than a view.
- Light as a structure. The beams are drawn as hard-edged shapes, so they carry as much weight as the stone.
- Warm neutrals. Cream, sand and slate sit quietly against almost any wall colour you already have.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The palette is soft enough for a bedroom and formal enough for a stairwell or landing, where the vertical pull of the arches has room to work. It suits putty, greige and warm white walls, and looks right with brass, leather and dark wood. Espresso and black frames echo the ironwork; natural oak keeps it gentle. Hang it with the Cube Houses Rotterdam print for a pair of buildings, or above a console in a hallway.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Are there people in it? Yes — a crowd of small figures across the floor of the hall, which is what gives the vault its size.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
