A Central Park travel poster of Bow Bridge at the peak of autumn. The cream cast-iron span crosses the lake in a shallow arc, its ornate balustrade panels and urn finials repeated exactly in the still water below, with scarlet and gold canopy filling the bank behind it and a twin-towered Central Park West apartment building rising over the treeline.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration with layered foliage shapes and a mirrored lower half. The palette is dominated by warm reds: scarlet, vermilion, crimson and rust in the maples, with pockets of amber and mustard gold, set against a soft sage-grey sky. The bridge is ivory and pale bone, drawn with its scrollwork panel detail and the ball finials on each pedestal. A dark maple branch overhangs from the top right corner, a bare-limbed trunk stands on the left, and a grey rock outcrop anchors the bottom left. The reflection is drawn as broken horizontal bands rather than a clean mirror. Type is a white sans serif reading CENTRAL PARK over NEW YORK CITY. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Bow Bridge, not a skyline — the most photographed span in the park, drawn from the water's edge in October.
- Reflection does half the work — the lower half is a full mirror image, which gives the print unusual symmetry.
- A genuinely warm print — red and gold across most of the sheet, and the only cool note is the sky.
- The city stays in the background — the apartment towers are there, but the park is the subject.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This is the warmest print in the set, so give it a quiet wall. Cream, oat, warm white or a pale sage all let the reds run; it sits particularly well beside the sage green wall in the photographs above. On a deep green or forest wall the scarlet goes richer still. Walnut or espresso frames suit it; avoid gold, which competes with the amber foliage.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The balustrade detail rewards size. 24" x 36" over a sofa or bed, 20" x 30" for a dining wall, 16" x 24" in an entry.
Does it come framed? Paper arrives rolled and unframed. Matte canvas is stretched and ready to hang. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? The printed type reads CENTRAL PARK with NEW YORK CITY beneath it. Bow Bridge is not named on the artwork itself.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
