A Capri travel poster from the clifftop path: the three Faraglioni stacks standing out of the water below, one of them pierced by its sea arch, a green tumble of scrub and rock dropping away in the foreground, and the Tyrrhenian running from turquoise at the rocks to deep navy at the horizon.
About the artwork
Built on a single steep diagonal — the cliff falls from the upper left to the lower right and the stacks sit in the space it opens up, which is why the image feels like a view rather than a postcard. The water is the achievement: at least five separate blues, laid in bands that follow the shallows around each rock, with pale turquoise where the seabed comes up and near-black where it drops. The cliff is drawn as clumped Mediterranean scrub, olive and moss and grey rock showing through, dense enough to have real texture at close range. The stacks themselves are kept simple, lit on one face and shadowed on the other. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Italy beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Water in five blues. The colour transition from shallows to deep sea is the whole reason the print carries a wall.
- The stacks are unmistakable. Anyone who has been to Capri places it in a second.
- Green and blue, no sand. A coastal print without a single beach cliche in it.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Deep saturated blue makes this one of the stronger prints in the series, so it holds a large wall on its own and does not need a partner. It suits white, sand and pale terracotta walls, and sits beautifully next to linen and rattan. Espresso and black frames deepen the water; white keeps it fresh. It hangs naturally beside the Positano or Sorrento coast prints if you are building an Italian wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where is the view from? From the clifftop above the rocks, looking down and out at the three stacks in the water.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
