A coffee wall art print built like a diner sign: a breakfast-in-bed tray drawn in white line on solid grass green, under BREAKFAST CLUB.
About the artwork
Everything on this sheet is a negative — the green is printed solid and the drawing is the paper showing through, so the tray, the cup and the croissant exist only as outlines with nothing filled in. It is the one design in this collection worked that way. The tray is drawn on a tilted perspective with tall legs, the kind that stands over a bed, and it carries a folded newspaper indicated by rows of short dashes standing in for the text, a cup and saucer with three curls of steam, and a croissant. The lettering sits off-centre, BREAKFAST to the left and CLUB pulled right, with opening hours stacked in a small block beside them.
Why you'll love it
- Drawn in reverse. Solid green ground, every line left as bare paper.
- It runs on a schedule. 7AM–11AM every morning, opens at 7AM — printed on the poster.
- Sign-painter weight. Chunky display caps with speckled ink, like a screenprinted shopfront.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Green this saturated behaves like a colour block, so it does well over a coffee station, a breakfast bar, or the wall beside a kettle where you actually stand in the morning. Pair it with warm wood and cream tile. A natural oak frame keeps it friendly; black makes it read as proper signage.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? BREAKFAST CLUB, with 7AM – 11AM EVERY MORNING, “Every breakfast is a fresh start.” and OPENS AT 7AM.
Is the newspaper readable? No — the text is suggested with rows of short dashes rather than words.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.

Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
