An Omaha Nebraska travel poster drawn from the walking deck of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. The view runs along the curve of the span, past two white cable-stayed pylons and their fanned steel, over the Missouri River to the low downtown skyline on the far bank. Cable shadows stripe the concrete underfoot.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration built almost entirely from one colour family: cyan sky, mid teal river, steel and slate blue in the shadows, with cream and pale grey holding the bridge itself. The near pylon rises the full height of the poster as a slender A-frame with a crossbeam; a second, smaller pylon sits mid-distance. Fine white cables sweep off the top corners. The deck is drawn in perspective with a speckled concrete texture and long diagonal shadow bars, and the river surface is broken into short horizontal ripple marks. Type is a wide white sans serif reading OMAHA over NEBRASKA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A walker's viewpoint — taken from on the bridge rather than from a distance, so the cables and deck do the work.
- Nearly monochrome — one blue range top to bottom, which makes it easy to place in a room that already has colour.
- Real Omaha geography — the Missouri River and the downtown towers sit exactly where you see them from the span.
- Strong lines — the cable fan and the shadow stripes give the print graphic structure from across the room.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cool blue and cream is the easiest palette in the set to live with. It sits cleanly on the plain white wall in the photographs above, and it also holds up against a pale grey or a soft blue-green in a home office. Next to oak or ash furniture the cream deck picks up the wood. Avoid a heavy gold frame here; black or natural wood suits the engineering better.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The skyline detail is small, so 18" x 24" or larger keeps it readable. Above a desk or a console, 24" x 36" is the sweet spot.
Does it come framed? Paper arrives rolled and unframed. Matte canvas is stretched and ready to hang. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? The printed type reads OMAHA with NEBRASKA beneath it. The bridge is not named on the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
