This Cabo San Lucas arch poster stands at the water's edge below a headland of golden rock. In the middle of the picture the cliff is pierced by a broad natural arch with the open sea showing through it, and a smaller pinnacle rises to its left. Turquoise waves churn white across the whole lower half, and a low range of desert mountains sits on the far horizon.
About the artwork
The technique is flat vector work with faceted shading: the rock is built from angular planes of amber, ochre and warm brown, and the sea from ribbons of teal, petrol and cream. The palette is a straight two-part contrast — sun-lit gold stone against cold turquoise water, under a plain deep blue sky. The arch sits on the upper third and the swell leads the eye toward it from the bottom corner. The printed lettering reads ARCH OF CABO SAN LUCAS above MEXICO in white. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- One clear landmark — the sea arch is drawn large and unmistakable, so the print reads instantly from the other side of a room.
- Water with real movement — breaking crests and foam patterns fill the foreground rather than a flat blue block.
- Gold against turquoise — a warm-cool pairing that suits both bright rooms and darker walls.
- No buildings at all — a purely natural scene, easy to hang beside landscape or coastal prints without competing with them.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Amber rock and turquoise water read well on crisp white, pale grey or a deep teal wall, and the gold half keeps a cool room from feeling cold. White or natural wood frames suit the beachy side of the palette, while black sharpens the faceted cliff edges. It works above a cream armchair with a sheer curtain nearby, where daylight brings out the foam, and it is a calm choice over a home-office desk. Pair it with linen, jute and pale oak rather than heavy dark furniture.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the arch a real rock formation? Yes — it is a natural sea arch cut through a granite headland, shown here from sea level with the open water visible through the opening and a separate rock pinnacle beside it.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
