This Wroclaw watercolor print shows the twin green spires of Wrocław Cathedral on Ostrów Tumski, reflected in the Oder River among spring cherry blossoms. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Wroclaw, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the buttresses, Gothic windows and sharp copper spires of the cathedral. Cherry blossoms are layered pink dots with white paper showing through, and weeping willows hang in soft green-gold strokes. Gothic brick red and patina green lead the palette, with the blue Oder, pink blossoms and a green steel truss bridge. The cathedral stands on the right, the single tower of the Church of the Holy Cross sits at center, and the bridge crosses on the left. The foreground riverbank holds willows, old lamps and a small bronze dwarf statue. "WROCLAW" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Bronze dwarf. One of Wrocław's little bronze dwarf statues stands on a stone base.
- River traffic. Two kayaks and a white sightseeing boat move along the Oder.
- Cherry blossom season. Pink blossoms and fresh willows set a soft spring mood.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Blush pink and blue suit a bedroom, nursery or spring-themed living room. It is a sweet gift for a couple who strolled the island at dusk or a friend from Wroclaw.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Wroclaw? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Wroclaw's cathedral island, and some elements, such as the bridge, are drawn longer or simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "WROCLAW," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
