This Venice flower market wall art print sets a gondola and canal above a sweeping field of irises. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Venice — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its canals.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with loose washes and white paper left showing. A row of pastel buildings, a red-brick bell tower and two domes sit in the top quarter, with a few modern towers behind. A canal with a gondola and mooring poles runs below, and dense purple and cobalt irises fill the lower half with touches of yellow, under a pale blue sky. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in violet-blue serif capitals, with "Venice" handwritten in orange below.
Why you'll love it
- Iris field. Purple irises give it a rich, regal color.
- Gondola moment. The gondola and mooring poles add a classic canal scene.
- Dreamlike mix. Old domes and distant modern towers make it an imagined city, not a postcard.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Lovely in a bedroom, dining room or hallway. Pair it with lavender, navy and white, or brass for warmth. A romantic gift for a honeymoon memory or anyone who has floated through Venice.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Venice? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of Venice. You see a canal with a gondola, a red-brick bell tower, domes, a few modern towers and a field of irises, composed as a dreamlike scene.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.037" beneath the artwork, with "Venice" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
