This Turin watercolor print shows the tall spire of the Mole Antonelliana above the Po river, with the Gran Madre di Dio, the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge and the snowy Alps behind. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Turin, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Brown-gray ink outlines the Mole Antonelliana right up to the tip of its spire, and the snowy peaks are left as white paper with blue shadows. The river is laid in clear blue washes that reflect the bridge, bare trees are drawn in thin ink with brown-orange dabs, and the left edge runs with long blue drips. River and Alpine blues lead the palette alongside the cream and ochre of the palazzi, with an orange tram and rust-brown branches as accents. The Mole sits slightly right of center, the domed church with its columned portico is on the right, the five-arch stone bridge crosses the river in the middle ground, and a hillside terrace with railings, lamps and bare trees forms the foreground. The light is crisp and cool, as on a clear winter day. "TURIN" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Tram on the bridge. A bright orange tram crosses the river, a small spot of warmth in a cool scene.
- Rowers on the Po. Single and double sculls glide past walkers on the tree-lined embankment.
- Alpine backdrop. Sharp white peaks rise behind the city across the full width of the print.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cool blues with cream and rust tones suit a modern living room, a bedroom with gray or navy textiles, or an office. It is a good gift for someone who lived in Turin or skied in the Italian Alps.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Turin? No. This is an artistic interpretation of Turin, composed in a watercolor style rather than traced from one viewpoint.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "TURIN," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
