A kitchen wall art print with a request written on it: five tomatoes hang from one vine, and the handwriting above asks to be used in a margherita.
About the artwork
The fruit is flat red with a fine speckled grain laid over it and no outline at all. The stems and calyxes are painted on top in a bright pea green rather than joined into the red shape, so they sit slightly proud of it. A few small white dots are scattered over each tomato for shine. All five hang from a single branch, and the branch runs out past the right edge of the sheet. Three lines of thin black handwriting are stacked like steps across the upper third, with three small sparkle marks at the left and three short diagonal dashes at the top right.
Why you'll love it
- One shared vine. All five hang from a single branch that leaves the sheet.
- Screenprint grain. Flat colour with a speckle over it and no outlines.
- Written, not typeset. Three stepped lines of thin handwriting.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Tomato red and pea green is the most straightforwardly Italian pairing here, so it does well near the stove or over a dining table. It is a direct pair with the chilli print, which shares the grain, the green and the handwriting. Natural oak suits both.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? “tomatoes!”, “Use me in Margherita” and “pizza”, in handwritten lines.
How many tomatoes are there? Five, all on one branch.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
