This seafood wall art print stacks three tins of sardines in cobalt blue and silver, the top one opened to show the fish inside.
About the artwork
The tins are digitally painted in a gouache-like manner with dry-brush texture and fine outlines, and the labels carry capital lettering in navy and cream. Cobalt blue and silver grey tins and blue-silver fish sit on a rounded beige pink block over white. The three tins stack through the center, open tin on top, silver in the middle and a tilted blue tin at the bottom, with the top tin breaking past the block.
Why you'll love it
- An open tin on top. The lid is rolled back with its key, showing three sardines packed side by side.
- Engraved silver. The middle tin has a pull ring and a fish etched in fine line.
- A handwritten touch. The bottom tin, tipped at an angle, carries a cream fish and handwritten lettering.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A tinned fish print is right at home near the pantry or over the counter where the tins get opened with crackers. The cobalt and silver look sharp with white tile, navy accents and natural linen, and a thin black frame works well. It is a fun pick for a seafood bar or wine bar.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? SARDINES and IN OLIVE OIL on the labels, with SARDINES appearing again on another tin.
What is the painting style? A textured, gouache-like digital painting with dry-brush strokes and fine outlines.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
