A three moon phases vertical poster: a realistic crescent, half moon and full moon stacked in one column, in soft gray and cream on white, no text.
About the artwork
The three moons line up perfectly down the center, starting with a thin crescent at the top and ending with a full disc at the bottom. Each one shows detailed craters and darker seas, so the surface feels real rather than drawn. The shaded edges fade gently into the white instead of ending in a hard line. Generous space around the column keeps it calm and orderly. Read from top to bottom, it tracks the moon filling up like a slow countdown.
Why you'll love it
- Calm and minimal. A clean layout that brings a quiet, restful mood.
- Great for bedrooms. The night-sky theme suits a spot above the bed or a reading chair.
- Ideal for narrow walls. The single tall column fits between windows or in a hallway.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a nightstand, a bed or a meditation corner. A white frame keeps the look airy, and a black frame gives the moons a sharper outline. It pairs well with other minimal or science-themed prints in a calm bedroom.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which phases are shown? A crescent at the top, a half moon in the middle and a full moon at the bottom.
Is the background white? Yes, plain white with lots of open space.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
