A woodland nursery wall art print of a large teddy bear bending down to hold the paw of a small bear, inside a wavy sepia border on cream paper.
About the artwork
The big bear stands on the right, head lowered toward the little one, one arm reaching down and the other tucked behind its back. On the left, the small bear stands on its toes and looks up, wearing a sage green bow at its neck. Both have soft sand-colored fur with gentle shading and small dark eyes. The frame around them is a rectangle with wavy, curving sides in a streaky sepia brown, like a brushed line of watercolor. The cream paper has a light texture, and a faint shadow sits under each bear.
Why you'll love it
- A sweet gesture. Holding hands feels like a first walk together.
- Classic teddy look. Plush fur and simple faces suit a traditional nursery.
- Built-in frame. The wavy sepia border gives the scene a finished edge.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This suits a nursery with a wooden crib, a rocking chair and cream knit throws. Espresso frames echo the sepia border, while natural wood keeps it soft. Hang it with the bear cub in a flower wreath or the standing bear designs from this range for a teddy-themed wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the wavy frame printed? Yes, the sepia border is part of the design; the print has no real frame unless you choose one.
Does it suit any nursery? Yes, the sand, sage and brown palette is gender-neutral.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
