This Tampa watercolor print shows the silver minarets of Plant Hall rising over the Hillsborough River, with palms and the Tampa Riverwalk in the foreground. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Tampa, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The river is a teal wash with bright streaks of untouched paper, and each palm frond is drawn with a fine ink line. Thin green drips run along the lower left edge, and red, orange and blue splatter dots ring the border. The palette blends river teal, palm green and the brick red of Plant Hall, accented with silver onion domes and blue glass towers. Plant Hall stands on the left with its minarets reaching the top, a bridge with small turrets crosses the middle and glass towers, including Rivergate Tower, rise on the right. A wooden boardwalk lined with palms and lamp posts fills the left foreground under a clear sky. "TAMPA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Silver minarets. Silver domes and minarets top the red brick hall, drawn in fine ink.
- Pelican perch. A pelican rests on a wooden piling at the water's edge.
- Active riverfront. A four-person rowing boat, a pontoon and joggers on the boardwalk fill in the scene.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Teal, palm green and brick red bring warmth to a Florida-style living room, a beach house or a bright office. It's a great gift for a snowbird who winters in Tampa or a couple celebrating a new home on the Gulf Coast.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Tampa? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Tampa riverfront. Some buildings are moved closer together, so the skyline sits beside Plant Hall for a fuller view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "TAMPA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
