A tall palm trees sun flare poster in high-contrast black and white: five slim fan palms backlit against a near-white sky, with no text.
About the artwork
The trees cluster toward the right edge, leaving a wide stretch of open sky on the left and across the top. Their trunks rise thin and straight, with fine gray bark lines, and the fan-shaped crowns break into dark silhouettes. Low on the right, the sun bursts through a gap between the trunks as a small star of light. The sky is so bright it nearly melts into the paper, so the palms look almost drawn on white.
Why you'll love it
- Calm, open wall space. The empty sky gives a busy room some breathing room.
- Beach mood, no color. A tropical scene that works in a strictly monochrome home.
- Tall and slim. The vertical layout suits narrow walls beside doors and windows.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it beside a window, in a hallway or above a slim console with a woven basket. Natural and white frames keep it light and coastal, and black outlines the silhouettes. Pair it with the low-angle fan palm grove or the feather palms print for a trio of palm studies.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text? No, only the palms, the sun flare and the open sky.
Is it a photograph? Yes, it is a black and white photograph with strong backlight.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
