This Sydney flower market wall art print looks across the harbor to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge through a garden of tropical color. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Sydney — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its harbor.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with loose, layered washes. The Sydney Opera House and city skyline sit upper left, the Sydney Harbour Bridge arches upper right, and the harbor and a sandy shore stretch between them. A dense garden of orange, yellow, pink and purple blooms fills the bottom half, with spiky red-and-gold flower heads, under a cream sky. "FLOWER MARKET" sits on top in turquoise serif capitals, with "Sydney" handwritten in coral pink below.
Why you'll love it
- Two icons, one view. The Opera House and Harbour Bridge frame the harbor together.
- Tropical garden. Spiky, sculptural blooms add texture and height.
- Bright harbor palette. Turquoise water and warm blossoms feel sunny and fresh.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Ideal for a living room, beach-style bedroom or bright hallway. It works with white walls, natural fibers and turquoise or coral accents. A great gift for an Aussie abroad, a recent traveler or anyone who calls Sydney home.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Sydney? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of Sydney. You see the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the harbor and a garden of tropical flowers arranged for the poster, not an exact view.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.032" beneath the artwork, with "Sydney" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
