This Spokane watercolor print shows the single great arch of the Monroe Street Bridge above the rushing Spokane Falls, with the Riverfront Park Clocktower and the SkyRide gondola nearby. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Spokane, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The concrete bridge is washed cream with gray shading, and fine ink lines draw its smaller arches and the bison heads on its pavilions. Rushing water is left as white paper streaked with turquoise, dark basalt blooms gray-violet, and trees are dabbed green and yellow, with a yellow drip at the lower left. The palette is riverbank green, turquoise and white water, and bridge cream, with red brick and pink cherry blossoms as accents. The bridge sits left of center with tile-roofed pavilions at both ends, the brick clocktower and gondola stand on the right, the falls pour over basalt in the middle, and downtown brick buildings and pine hills rise behind, with a riverside trail and wooden railing in front. Spring high water and blossoms set the season. "SPOKANE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Gondola over the falls. A purple gondola cabin hangs on its cable above the whitewater.
- Bison-head details. Sculpted bison heads on the bridge pavilions reward a closer look.
- Spring cherry blossoms. Pink trees bloom in the park while a jogger runs the river trail.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The greens, turquoise and cream work well in a living room, an office or a hallway with white or gray walls. Give it to someone who grew up in the Inland Northwest or as a going-away gift for a Spokane coworker.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Spokane? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Spokane, and the position of the falls relative to the bridge is slightly rearranged.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "SPOKANE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
