This San Diego flower market wall art print frames a sunset bay with palms and big, bright blooms. It is a stylized, imaginative take on San Diego — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its bay or skyline.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with deep, saturated washes and visible water edges. Palms frame both sides, while a steel arch bridge and a small, low skyline sit across the water in the upper center. Large white and orange-gold blooms fill the foreground under a pale lemon sky, with navy and cobalt shadows giving a warm-to-cool sunset glow. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in blue serif capitals, with "San Diego" handwritten in orange below.
Why you'll love it
- Golden-hour glow. A lemon sky and orange blooms against navy shadows feel like late afternoon.
- Coastal palms. Tall palms frame the view and bring an easygoing seaside mood.
- Dreamlike composition. The bridge and skyline are part of an imagined scene, so it reads as art, not a map.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room, beach-house hallway or home office that wants warmth. It works with navy, white and natural wood, plus a few brass accents. A cheerful gift for someone who has lived in San Diego or loves a sunny coastal look.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of San Diego? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of San Diego. You see palms, a bay at sunset, a steel arch bridge and a low skyline composed for the poster; the bridge and buildings are artistic elements, not a true-to-life view of the city.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.022" beneath the artwork, with "San Diego" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
