This Red Lodge, Montana watercolor print shows wide Broadway Avenue, lined with early 20th-century red-brick and sandstone buildings with ornate cornices. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Montana main street, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Warm transparent washes cover the brick facades, fine brown-grey ink outlines carved cornices, arched windows and awnings, and the snowy peaks are white paper with violet-blue shadows. Brick red, sandstone beige, spring green and snow white form the palette, with green and red awnings and pink flower boxes as accents. The view looks south from above the north end of the avenue, with a three-storey brick hotel on the right, its sign left blank, and steep green slopes of homes and pines behind town. A broad sidewalk with old-style lampposts, flower baskets and planters fills the foreground, and the Beartooth Mountains hold their snow in late-spring blue-violet haze. Pink and blue drips trickle from the lower left, with dotted color around the margins. "RED LODGE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it

Styling it at home
Brick reds and fresh greens suit a mountain-lodge living room, a study or a hallway with dark wood trim. A good gift for Montana road-trippers, ski-town regulars or anyone who grew up in Big Sky Country.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Red Lodge, Montana? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Red Lodge's Broadway Avenue and the Beartooth Mountains, and some details are simplified to keep the focus on the historic street.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "RED LODGE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
