A playroom wall art print of a white, black-spotted cat in round sunglasses and a mustard bandana, playing a black grand piano on a peach-pink ground.
About the artwork
The cat sits on a small stool at the left, paws on the keys, wearing a bandana tied over its head and another knotted at the neck, plus loose green trousers. Its long spotted tail rises straight up behind it in a wavy curve. The grand piano fills the right half of the scene, lid raised, with a sheet of music on the stand drawn only as simple marks. A rough caramel-brown painted frame surrounds the peach panel, and the outer cream border is scattered with moss green dots. Everything is hand-drawn digitally with a textured dry brush, giving a slightly retro, playful finish.
Why you'll love it
- Instant personality. A cat in shades at the keys turns a music corner into a little stage.
- Built wide. Drawn as a landscape, it sits neatly above a low shelf or a toy chest.
- Warm and lively. Peach, mustard and green feel cheerful without shouting.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it near a toy piano or a basket of shakers and drums so the theme carries through the corner. Natural or espresso frames pick up the caramel border nicely. The moss green dots pair well with a green rug or plant, and the mustard bandana gives you a cue for cushions or bunting.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there another colour version of this cat? Yes. A second version shows the same pianist cat in a pink bandana and blue-grey trousers on a light peach ground.
Is the dotted border part of the print? Yes, the brown frame and the dotted cream edge are printed as part of the design.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
