Petronas Towers wall art seen from the green hills west of the city, the twin spires and their skybridge lifting clear of the Kuala Lumpur skyline with palm fronds pushing into the bottom of the frame.
About the artwork
Built almost entirely from greens and teals. The towers are drawn in cool blue-grey with the stepped setbacks and ring collars picked out in fine detail, and the double-decker skybridge is clearly visible between them. Below, the Suria dome and the KLCC fountains sit in a band of pale city blocks, and the foreground is a dense mass of palm and jungle canopy that frames the composition on both sides. Distant hills fade to soft mint.
Why you'll love it
- The towers set in their landscape rather than isolated against a night sky.
- A green-on-green palette that is unusual for a skyline print.
- Enough architectural detail in the towers to hold up at large sizes.
- Tropical foreground makes it an easy match for plant-filled rooms.
Where it works at home
The jungle framing makes this the most plant-friendly city print in the collection — hang it in a room that already has monstera or palms and the foreground picks them up. It suits a living room wall in an oak or natural frame, and works in a home office where the cool greens keep the mood level. Avoid a strongly patterned wall; the canopy detail needs quiet around it.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Can you see the skybridge? Yes — the double-decker bridge linking the towers at the 41st and 42nd floors is drawn in, roughly halfway up the frame.
