This Palma de Mallorca watercolor print shows La Seu (Palma Cathedral) and the Almudaina Palace rising above the fountain lake of the Parc de la Mar. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Palma de Mallorca, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine brown ink traces every pinnacle and the rose window of the golden sandstone cathedral. The lake is a clear turquoise wash with golden reflections, the fountain jet is left as white paper, and the left edge bleeds into pink, green and violet with long drips. Golden marès sandstone, turquoise water and palm green form the palette, with pale pink blossom and a small Spanish flag on the palace as accents. The cathedral with its flying buttresses and spires sits right of center, the crenellated palace stands on the left, and the city walls run along the lake in the middle ground. A palm-lined promenade with lamp posts edges the water, with the Serra de Tramuntana behind in warm late spring. "PALMA DE MALLORCA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Fountain jet. A tall jet of water rises from the middle of the lake.
- Promenade life. People cycle, stroll and roller-skate along the lakeside path.
- Date palms. Tall date palms line the promenade beside pale pink flowering shrubs.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The golden sandstone and turquoise tones suit a living room, bedroom or vacation rental with white, sand and rattan decor. It makes a happy wedding-trip keepsake for a couple who visited the Balearic Islands.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Palma de Mallorca? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Palma waterfront, with the cathedral, palace and lake composed into one bright scene.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "PALMA DE MALLORCA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
