This Palm Springs watercolor print shows the swooping roof of the Palm Springs Visitor Center against snow-capped Mount San Jacinto, with a desert garden in front. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Palm Springs, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The rocky mountain is built from many layers of violet-blue and beige wash, with snow left as bare white paper. Agave and cactus are drawn in fine ink, thin yellow drips fall at the lower left and pink, yellow and blue splatter dots the edges. Desert sand beige, mountain violet-blue and gray-green agave and palms form the palette, with teal glass, a teal convertible and pink desert flowers as accents. The winged roof of the visitor center sits left of center, a flat-roofed mid-century house with a patterned block wall sits on the right and a curving road crosses the middle. Mount San Jacinto fills much of the background, and barrel cactus, agave and ocotillo crowd the foreground on a dry, sunny winter day. "PALM SPRINGS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Mid-century style. A swooping winged roof and a flat-roofed house with a patterned block wall nod to the city's modern design.
- Vintage convertible. A classic teal convertible cruises the curving road.
- Desert garden. Barrel cactus, agave, ocotillo and tall fan palms fill the scene.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Sand, teal and soft pink are made for a mid-century living room, a poolside guest room or a sunny office. It's a fun gift for a couple who honeymooned in the desert or a friend who loves modern architecture.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Palm Springs? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Palm Springs. The mountain carries a bit more snow than usual, and the buildings are arranged for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "PALM SPRINGS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
