A Museum of Islamic Art poster looking along the Doha bay, with the museum's stacked cream limestone cubes stepping up out of the water at the centre. Behind it the blue-green glass towers of the West Bay stand in a tight cluster, and a pale paved promenade with a strip of lawn sweeps in from the bottom left.
About the artwork
The composition is split on a strong diagonal: paving and grass along the left edge, a broad turquoise bay filling the lower two thirds, and the buildings compressed into a band across the middle. The museum is a set of plain geometric blocks in sand and warm cream, with small square windows and one shaded arch, deliberately simple against the faceted, ruled glass of the towers behind. The water is drawn in fine horizontal strokes of teal and jade with a few white sparkles. The lettering reads DOHA over QATAR in white capitals.
Why you'll love it
- Archival fine art paper or gallery-wrapped matte canvas, pigment inks
- Thirteen sizes, 8 x 12 up to 30 x 40 inches, plus A4 to A1
- Framed canvas ready to hang in four wood finishes
- Modern geometric architecture in warm sand tones against clean teal water
Where it works at home
The generous open water in the lower half means this print does not crowd a small wall, so it works over a desk, along a hallway, or above a low console where the furniture already carries the visual weight. Warm sand tones keep it friendly beside oak and rattan, while the teal gives a plain white or greige room something to hold onto.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Which building is the main subject? The pale, block-like structure standing on the water in the centre — the museum itself. The taller glass towers behind are the city's business district, drawn in muted blue-grey so the museum keeps the focus.
