This Lake of the Ozarks watercolor print shows Bagnell Dam and its powerhouse, seen from a wooded bluff, with covered boat docks and pontoon boats in a cove below. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the lake, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines trace each pier and gate of the cream concrete dam, with rushing white water left as bare paper. The lake is a clear blue streaked by boat wakes, and oak and hickory crowns are washed in green and gold. The dam runs diagonally across the middle with the blocky powerhouse at its right end, and the main channel winds into the distance past lake houses on the hills. A cove with floating covered docks, pontoon boats and a wooden house on the bluff fills the lower left. Rolling Ozark hills fade behind under a high summer sky, in a palette of forest green, lake blue and limestone cream with white boats as accents. "LAKE OF THE OZARKS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Dam and powerhouse. The long concrete dam gives the print a strong architectural line.
- Summer boat life. Pontoon boats, a speedboat with a white wake and swimmers leaping off a dock fill the water.
- Rolling Ozark hills. Layers of forested hills fade into the haze behind the lake.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Greens and blues suit a lake house, a cabin, a man cave or a relaxed family room. Give it to someone who spends summer weekends at the lake, or as a housewarming gift for a new place on the water.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Lake of the Ozarks? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Lake of the Ozarks and Bagnell Dam. Some details of the dam and the water are simplified for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "LAKE OF THE OZARKS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
