This Hue, Vietnam watercolor print shows the seven-tiered Phuoc Duyen Tower of Thien Mu Pagoda standing above the calm, wide Perfume River. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Hue, Vietnam, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The tower is washed in pale ochre with a touch of pink, and fine ink outlines its arched openings and roof ledges. The river is drawn in horizontal blue strokes, with the tower's reflection bleeding downward, and drips fall from the lower left corner and the right edge. Moss green trees and hills, ochre stone and river blue set a quiet mood, lifted by a monk's saffron robe and pale pink blossoms. The tower stands left of center and reaches into the upper third, with a hexagonal bell pavilion and a curved-roof hall to the right. Spring leaves and pink blossoms frame wide stone steps leading down to a wooden landing. "HUE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Quiet, still mood. Soft greens and a glassy river give the scene a calm, reflective feel.
- Dragon boat landing. A carved dragon boat waits at the wooden pier below the steps.
- River life. A woman in a conical hat paddles a small boat loaded with flowers.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home

Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Hue, Vietnam? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Thien Mu Pagoda on the Perfume River, painted to show its peaceful setting rather than an exact layout.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "HUE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
