This Hudson, New York watercolor print shows Warren Street's brick storefronts sloping down toward the Hudson River, with the Catskill Mountains beyond. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the street, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines pick out cast-iron cornices, tall sash windows and iron railings, while the brick facades are built up in layered red-orange washes. The river is left as a bright streak of white paper, and yellow and pink drips run down the left edge into pink, blue and violet at the bottom. The street runs straight from the foreground to the center in one-point perspective, lined by 19th-century brick buildings, looking west toward the river. A white-steepled church stands in the middle right, and the blue Catskills fill the background. A brick sidewalk with cafe tables and flower pots sits in the lower left, and fresh green street trees mark late spring. "HUDSON" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Main street perspective. The long one-point view down Warren Street pulls the eye straight to the river.
- Sidewalk cafe scene. A couple at a cafe table, a cyclist and a dog walker give the street a relaxed pace.
- Sail on the river. A small sailboat on the Hudson echoes the white church steeple above the rooftops.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Brick red, leafy green and soft blue look right in a dining room, kitchen, entryway or townhouse living room. It is a lovely gift for city weekenders who fell for Hudson, or for anyone who calls the Hudson Valley home.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Hudson, New York? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Warren Street, and the buildings are simplified rather than drawn one by one.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "HUDSON," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
