This Hanoi travel wall art frames Hoan Kiem Lake through a curtain of weeping willow, with a scarlet arched bridge running out to the temple island and its red-tiled roofs. The water lies flat and jade green, catching pale reflections, while the old quarter shows only as a band of small rooftops behind the trees.
About the artwork
The image is built from layered flat shapes and fine speckling, with willow fronds cut as long tapering strokes that frame the view along the top and both edges. The palette holds soft teal sky, jade and olive water, sap green foliage and a single hot red for the bridge rails and roof tiles. Short flecks of light dapple the lake surface. The poster is printed with HANOI in white capitals and VIETNAM below.
Why you'll love it
- One clear accent colour, so it pairs easily with green, cream or teak rooms.
- Deep framing by the willows gives the piece a quiet, window-like depth.
- Archival paper or gallery-wrapped canvas, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- Green-dominant, which makes it an easy partner for houseplants and natural fibres.
Where it works at home
A restful choice for a bedroom or a reading corner, where the green water keeps the wall soft. It also suits a stair landing lit from one side. Hang it against sage, clay or off-white paint; an oak frame echoes the willow, black picks out the bridge.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Is this print dark on the wall? The mid-tones are deep but the pale sky and reflective lake keep plenty of light in the image. On matte canvas the greens read a touch richer, while paper softens them, which suits a dimmer room.
