A kitchen wall art print: a breakfast table seen straight from above in cobalt ink, with Start your day with a grateful heart and a delicious breakfast written across the corner in red.
About the artwork
This is the densest drawing in the collection — almost no ground is left showing. The line is an even cobalt, broken up by solid blue areas scattered through the objects, and the border is four hand-drawn strokes that leave the corners open. Inside it a folded newspaper sits at the upper left, a long-spouted teapot at the upper right, a patterned plate at the centre holding a croissant and a small bowl with a spoon, and a jam jar and a plate of toast at the bottom. The tablecloth is a broken-stroke check drawn underneath everything. Three lines of red script climb across the lower right, overlapping the border.
Why you'll love it
- Full to the edges. There is something to look at everywhere.
- Single ink, high contrast. Cobalt on ivory, nothing else competing.
- A morning message. It earns its place facing a breakfast table.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Busy prints need calm walls and a decent size. Go 18 x 24 or larger and hang it alone rather than in a grid — at small sizes the detail collapses into texture. It is at its best facing the table it depicts. Natural and white frames keep it light; black frames make the cobalt feel heavier than it is.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Start your day with a grateful heart and a delicious breakfast.
Is the frame around the scene printed? Yes — it is drawn by hand and left open at the corners.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Production & shipping
Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.

Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
