This Gainesville, Florida watercolor print shows Century Tower rising above the Plaza of the Americas on the University of Florida campus. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the Florida college city, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The brick tower is washed in clear earthy orange, with fine brown ink tracing its pointed belfry openings, corner pinnacles and Gothic windows. Spanish moss hangs from the oaks in loose gray-green strokes, and the lawn is green with patches of sunlight left as bare paper. Century Tower stands tall on the left and runs past the top of the scene, a red-brick Collegiate Gothic hall with a tile roof sits on the right, and brick paths cross the broad lawn under live oaks. Oak and lawn greens lead the palette with brick orange, pink flowering shrubs and a pale blue sky. The edges break into orange and green drips and splatter. "GAINESVILLE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Tall brick tower. Century Tower's slim vertical shape gives the print strong height on the left side.
- Moss-draped oaks. Spanish moss hanging from the live oaks adds a soft Southern texture.
- Lawn life. A frisbee game, picnic blankets and two cyclists make the plaza feel lived in.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Warm brick orange and leafy green suit a home office, a game room or a living room with rattan and cream fabrics. Give it to a new graduate, a parent sending a student to Gainesville, or a longtime alum.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

Is this an exact view of Gainesville, Florida? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Century Tower and the Plaza of the Americas, with buildings and trees arranged for the composition.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
