This Florida Keys watercolor print shows the Seven Mile Bridge stretching across turquoise water, with the old Overseas Railroad bridge and tiny Pigeon Key beside it. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the Keys, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Clear turquoise and blue washes are layered over moss-green patches of seagrass. The concrete bridge is left light with fine ink lines, and the lower left edge breaks into drips and blue splatter. Turquoise and blue water lead the palette, with palm and mangrove green, pale concrete and rusty brown from the old steel spans. The bridge runs diagonally from lower left to the horizon with a gentle hump in the middle, and the railroad bridge runs alongside on the right. Tall white clouds and calm water suggest the warm dry season. "FLORIDA KEYS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Aerial bridge view. The high viewpoint follows the bridges out to a flat tropical horizon.
- Two bridges, two eras. The modern highway runs beside the rusting girders of the old railroad bridge.
- Island details below. Pigeon Key's wooden buildings, a sailboat and two pelicans add small stories.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Turquoise, palm green and white suit a beach house, bathroom, sunroom or coastal bedroom. Give it to someone who has driven down through the Keys, or keep it as a souvenir of a tropical vacation.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Florida Keys? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Florida Keys. Some parts, like the old railroad bridge, are drawn in a simplified way.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "FLORIDA KEYS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
