This Dubai watercolor print shows the Burj Khalifa rising above Burj Lake as the Dubai Fountain sends tall jets of water into the air. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Dubai and not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Clear turquoise washes form the lake, with the tower reflected as long vertical streaks. The fountain jets are left as white paper with pale grey shading, and fine ink lines trace the tower's setbacks and the arched rooftops, while two drips run down the left edge. The palette moves from lake turquoise and silver-blue glass to warm sand stone, with date palm green as an accent. The tower stands at the center with its spire nearly touching the city name, seen across the lake from the waterfront promenade, with glass towers on both sides and sand-colored arcades with wind towers on the right. Because the tower is so tall, a wide band of white paper stays open across the top. "DUBAI" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Fountain at full height. Tall water jets rise from the middle of the lake in front of the tower.
- Abra on the water. A covered wooden abra carries passengers across the lake.
- Lakeside promenade. Strollers, white umbrellas, date palms and old-style lamps line the foreground.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Turquoise, silver and sand tones suit a modern living room, a bright office or an entryway with brass or white finishes. It makes a fitting housewarming gift for someone who has lived or worked in the UAE.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Dubai? No. It is an artistic interpretation of downtown Dubai around the Burj Khalifa, with some surrounding buildings simplified for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "DUBAI," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
