A seafood wall art print: three platters of whole fish seen straight from above, drawn in a single cobalt ink under the title DINNER PARTY.
About the artwork
One ink, but a wide range of tone: dense parallel strokes describe the bodies of the fish and the rims of the platters, and blocks of solid cobalt are dropped in between them so the drawing has real contrast rather than an even grey. The three platters are staggered on a diagonal — a large round dish at the centre holding three whole fish laid head to tail with a serving spoon, an oval dish below with one larger fish under a scattering of leaves, a small dish of olives and a bread tray at the upper left, and a round sauce bowl with a long spoon at the lower right. The four-tier gallery layout and white border enclose the whole arrangement.
Why you'll love it
- Seafood drawn as a table, not a specimen. It is a meal in progress.
- One ink, strong contrast. Solid areas against dense hatching.
- Coastal without the clichés. No anchors, no rope, no driftwood.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A dining room is the natural place, though it also works in a coastal-leaning kitchen or a hallway that needs one cool note. The cobalt holds up against white, pale blue and warm stone walls alike. Hang it beside the Cooking School utensils print — same layout, opposite colour — and the two read as a considered pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
How many fish are shown? Four in total — three on the round platter and one larger fish below.
How many colours? One cobalt ink on a grey-cream panel inside a white border.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
