This Charlotte watercolor print shows the Bank of America Corporate Center and the Uptown skyline above Romare Bearden Park, with a waterfall wall, a pond and pink crape myrtles in front. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Charlotte, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the crown of spikes on the Bank of America Corporate Center, the glass grids of the skyscrapers and the stacked stone walls. The waterfall wall is left as vertical streaks of white paper, crape myrtle blooms are dotted in pink, and the pond is blue with reflections. The palette is Carolina sky blue, blue glass and warm granite with leafy green, accented by crape myrtle pink, old warehouse brick red and gray stone. The Bank of America Corporate Center stands right of center, glass towers with angled and domed tops, including the Duke Energy Center, rise on the left, and a red brick warehouse sits in the middle right. A curving path, stone walls, the waterfall wall spilling into the pond and pink crape myrtles fill the foreground in summer. "CHARLOTTE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Kids by the waterfall. Children play beside the cascading stone wall.
- White park sculpture. A white sculpture stands in the middle of the park among black lamp posts.
- Summer picnic. A couple sits on a blanket while others stroll the curving path.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Sky blue, leafy green and soft pink suit a home office, a family room or a bright apartment with modern furniture. It is a fun gift for a Charlotte transplant or a coworker leaving the city.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Charlotte? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Charlotte, with the park and skyline arranged for a balanced composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "CHARLOTTE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
