This Cambria, California watercolor print shows the weathered Moonstone Beach boardwalk winding along a grassy bluff above a rocky cove. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the coastal village, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine brown-grey ink outlines the boardwalk planks and rails over soft beige-grey washes, the surf is left as white paper, and the ice plant is built from layered pink-red dots. The palette mixes Pacific blue, pine green, boardwalk brown and pebble beige, with magenta ice plant as the accent. The boardwalk curves from the lower left into the distance, looking south down Moonstone Beach, with a pebble cove and dark surf-wrapped rocks on the right. Wind-shaped Monterey pines, cypress and a few cottage roofs of Cambria sit on the left, and green late-winter hills meet the long curve of the Pacific. Long pink-violet drips spill from the lower left, with scattered dots along the border. "CAMBRIA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Winding boardwalk. The planked path pulls the eye from the foreground straight down the coast.
- Magenta ice plant. A carpet of bright ice plant edges the bluff above the cove.
- Coastal walkers. A couple with a golden dog, a beachcomber and skimming pelicans add quiet life.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Ocean blues and soft greens work well in a coastal bedroom, a bathroom or a sunroom with white and driftwood tones. Give it as a reminder of a California coast road trip, an anniversary by the sea or a beach-cottage housewarming.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Cambria, California? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Moonstone Beach boardwalk and cove, meant to capture the feel of Cambria's shoreline rather than an exact photographic view.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "CAMBRIA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
