This coffee wall art print is the all-black take on the café cups design, with two clinking cups and two OK hands drawn in thick black brush line.
About the artwork
Thick brush strokes in a single black draw the cups and hands as simple, playful line art, with bold art deco capitals in the same black. The line work sits on a pale blush beige frame over an ivory ground. The cups meet in the middle, the hands gesture from the top left and bottom right, and the words fill the upper right and the bottom.
Why you'll love it
- Fully monochrome. Cups, hands and lettering are all black, with no colour fills at all.
- Goes with anything. Black on pale beige sits easily beside colourful prints or in a strictly neutral scheme.
- All about the line. With colour stripped away, the loose brush strokes of the cups and hands become the focus.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Choose this one for a monochrome or Scandinavian kitchen, a black and white coffee bar, or a minimal café wall. A black frame makes it graphic, while pale wood softens it, and it hangs well next to the coloured versions in a gallery wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? CAFÉ, MON AMOUR?
Is there a colour version? Yes. The same drawing comes with a peach frame and green and blue hands, or a beige frame with yellow and blue hands. This edition is pure black line.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.

Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Dust paper prints with a clean, dry cloth; wipe canvas and framed canvas gently with a clean, damp cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed. More care tips are in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
