A textured abstract wall art print of a faint tower, a distant skyline and rippling water lines, all half-lost in layers of brown wash and set in a wide printed white border.
About the artwork
The picture sits at the center of the sheet, a little over half its width, surrounded by the look of rough cold-press watercolor paper. Inside, olive-brown and smoky washes cover a gritty, aged surface. A pale ghost of a tower is sketched in fine lines at the left center, with a tiny penciled figure just below it. On the right a dark band with thin spires runs like a far shore, and horizontal strokes beneath it read as water. A tall dark shadow rises along the left edge, and patches of blue-gray break through at the center right.
Why you'll love it
- Old-world atmosphere. Like a faded memory of a harbor town.
- Earthy and muted. Brown, gray and a hint of blue.
- Built-in border. The printed white surround gives it a gallery feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Well suited to a study, library or hallway with dark wood, brass and leather. A natural or espresso frame keeps the warmth; black gives it more contrast. Pair it with the khaki-mounted ink sketch for two small old-world pieces with matching white borders.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What is in the picture? A faint tower, a small figure and a distant shoreline with spires above water lines, all loosely sketched.
Is the white border a separate mat? No, the white surround is printed on the same sheet as the image.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
